Job Summary:
Telemetry (TELE) nursing professionals are needed for a contract position at a healthcare organization in South Austin. This role involves providing specialized patient care on a designated unit, with a focus on telemetry monitoring and trauma/orthopedic cases. The position offers an opportunity to work a night shift on a 13-week assignment, supporting the facility's commitment to delivering excellent patient outcomes.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights, 12 hours shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, one year of Med/Surg experience, and the ability to work nights.
• Preferred Qualifications: ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification, TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course), telemetry monitoring experience, and familiarity with electrocardiogram interpretation.
• Additional Information: The unit cares for orthopedic and trauma patients, utilizing Welch Allyn Vital Signs monitors and GE Telemetry Monitoring systems. Staff should be outgoing and team-oriented to fit in with the units collaborative culture. Dress code specifies navy scrubs.
